Founded in 1998 as Fast Eddie’s, we started with a simple vision—create a place where friends could come together to enjoy a game of pool, sip on great drinks, and indulge in tasty bites.
Inspired by the iconic character “Fast Eddie” from the classic film The Hustler, our name was a nod to the timeless spirit of billiards, precision, and fun. Over the years, we have expanded beyond just pool tables to include a wider variety of games, a more diverse menu, and a lively atmosphere that appeals to all kinds of guests.

As we grew and evolved, so did our identity. To better reflect our expanding offerings and vibrant community, we rebranded as Eddies Tavern. This change marked a new chapter for us—one where we continue to honor our roots in billiards while providing so much more. Today, Eddies Tavern is known for its full-service bar, wide food offerings, and a wide range of games from pool to darts to backyard games.
With 15 locations across Texas and Louisiana, we’re more than just a tavern—we’re a hub for fun, friendly competition, and great conversation. Whether you’re a seasoned pool shark, a newcomer looking to have some fun, or someone just wanting to relax with friends, there’s something for everyone.
